You can find all the music you want on the web nowadays, and the beauty of it is that you don't have to download anything if you wish to play it. However, if you decide to download and use Kaku, listening to your favorite songs will become much more comfortable. This lightweight piece of software gives you the possibility of creating playlists with web videos, which you can play on its interface without downloading the media. Whenever you want to play that song that's been playing in your head the whole day, you don't have to launch your browser and search for it, because you can find it much faster on Kaku's interface.

Kaku is offered as a freeware application, for Windows, Mac and Linux, and it can be installed in just a few seconds, regardless of your preferred platform. Windows users will be able to enjoy it on all modern versions, including Win 10, without having to meet any special requirements. Furthermore, there is no need to sacrifice too much memory or processing power.

The user interface consists of several sections, in which you can find the latest songs and news, your search results, play queue, history and more. All songs are displayed as thumbnails, and you can just click one to play it. You will also see the video playing in the lower-left corner of the window, and you can set it to full-window or full-screen if you want to or go to its web page.

Creating playlists is another thing you can do. Just click the appropriate option, name your playlist, and it will show up on the left side of the user interface. With one or more playlists created, you can right-click songs to reveal options for sending them to your existing playlists. This way, if you have a favorite songs collection, you can play it from beginning to end without any interruptions.

One feature that makes Kaku particularly interesting is the possibility of DJ-ing online. You can specify a nickname and a room name and share its key with your friends, to let them listen to the songs you're playing. Alternatively, you can join another session as a guest, if you know its name and key.

Kaku places all the music you will ever want right in front of you, and you don't have to do anything for it.

Pros

You can play music and videos from the web without downloading anything. The software lets you queue songs and create playlists. You can also act as a DJ online.

Cons

There doesn't seem to be a way to queue individual songs.
